(More customer reviews)A true weapon on the tee box!And when you connect the ball right...you know it!I know there are other r7 clubs which are more expensive but I could not see how they could be worth the extra dollars. This club is light as a feather and a lot of fun.

Product Description:
The TaylorMade Men's r7 Quad HT Titanium Driver is a milestone in driver technology.Although this is only one driver, it is equipped with six center of gravity (CG) locations, six sets of launch conditions, and six trajectories. Built with TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC), the r7 Quad gives you the freedom to change the launch angle and spin rate to the maximize distance, control, and accuracy of your tee shots.
Designed as the first driver to scientifically adapt to your swing, the r7 could actually "cure" your slice or hook.Toss in TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) and you'll not only drive the ball straighter, but longer--you'll get the maximum distance possible for your individual swing. And like other TaylorMade drivers, the r7 clubhead is built using "Pull-Face" construction that allows TaylorMade to offer an exceptionally strong titanium for an exceedingly fast, flexible, and light clubface that bumps right up against the USGA's coefficient of restitution (COR) limit. Not everyone can hit the ball clean with each swing.TaylorMade knows this and has designed the r7 to expand the club's COR and produce greater ball velocity on off-center hits, resulting in consistently longer drives.
This deep-faced, 400cc titanium driver delivers a higher launch angle and a lower spin-rate.The perimeter-positioned TLC ports contribute to ultra-high moment of inertia (MOI) for outstanding forgiveness.Other features include super-thin wall technology for 20-percent thinner clubhead walls that save more than 40 grams of weight, and four TLC cartridges (two two-gram and two 10-gram) for maximum versatility.
This right-handed driver is available with a 9.5-, 10.5-, or 11.5-degree loft and a stiff or regular flex shaft.
What is the Coefficient of Restitution (COR)?
The Coefficient of Restitution, referred to as COR in golf circles, is a measurement of the clubface's ability to rebound the ball, expressed as a percentage that is determined by a ball's speed off the clubhead divided by the speed at which it struck the clubhead. The crept into popular golf vernacular with the rise of ultra-thin-faced drivers. An effect of thin faces is known as the "spring-like effect" or "trampoline effect"--the face of the driver depresses as the ball is struck, then rebounds. This provides adds a little extra power to the shot, and a driver that exhibits this property will have a very high COR.Of course, the USGA has imposed maximum CORs to level the "spring-like effect" playing field. For a club to be allowed under USGA rules, it must have a maximum COR of 0.830.
What's in the Box?
TaylorMade r7 Quad HT driver, TLC torque wrench, pouch, head cover, trajectory wheel, and owner's manual.
